Pop Up Tap Class with Megan Hsi
Make some music!
In this pop up class, we will work on making music with our taps. Following a technical warm-up, we will do a series of exercises to expand our musical technique and tap vocabulary which will serve as the basis for a classic tap combination.

Megan Hsi
Megan is a Bay Area native and started her training in jazz and tap dance at Studio 10 Dance, where she discovered her love for tap. During her high school years, she performed with dance troupe Tap Explosion, led by Gayle Greenbrook. Since then, she has branched out to explore a diverse set of dance styles, including aerial dance, freestyle movement, and partner dances. She has now returned to her roots by taking jazz at Zohar and rekindling her love of tap dance. Megan’s teaching philosophy is grounded in empowering students, offering a blend of technique and self-expression, and she finds joy in helping her students achieve breakthroughs in their skills.
