Performance Opportunity
Lee Ann Payne will be creating a new work building upon a piece she created in 2013, "Birds on a Wire" . This is a wonderful opportunity to work intensively on a piece with an amazing choreographer!
About the Work
In 2013, I created a showcase of choreography with the help of the wonderful dancers at Zohar. A contemporary/jazz piece, "Birds on a Wire" was an original piece I choreographed that I would like to revive and expand upon. In this series of dances (more than one!) I'm looking to make a fun compilation of the lives of our feathered friends. Everyone is welcome and I hope to make some clever pieces to enjoy! Could there be a small tap section? Yes, yes there could be!
Performance Date
This will be performed in Zohar Performance Series 15 on April 17, 2027
