Dr. Lisa Allaire is happy to provide a continuation of this past Sunday's class on 12/8, Wednesday @ 7:45pm-8:45pm. This will be an hour long class as there will not be as much discussion regarding her philosophy.
The class will focus on properly executing the exercises (repetition/sets). She will be bringing more props (physio balls, wobble foam rollers, etc) as well.
We at Zohar are working on a more consistent schedule of Lisa's class after the New Year. We are very excited for this new class.
Please register for this December 8th class at 7:45p with Dr. Lisa Allaire via Mindbody (below). We look forward to seeing you move and feel better while gaining robust resilience!

This 1.5 hour Q&A will answer questions and provide you with tips to prepare you for auditioning for musical theatre. We are so excited to have Sara Dean, Executive Director of South Bay Musical Theater and Janie Scott, choreographer share their experience.

A few performing highlights include Peter Pan (Broadway) Merrily We Roll Along (Broadway) A Chorus Line (National and International Tours) and CATS (original LA Company). Join Master Pilates instructor Jill Harris at Zohar for a looped band Pilates mat class. This class will give you a full core workout as well as introduce you to more intense exercises to strengthen your hips, glutes and upper body.
Attire: clothing similar to yoga/dance.
Footwear: No shoes, but one can wear socks.
Equipment: yoga mat, if you have your own loop bands, please bring them, but we will have some available for your use.
Jill Harris has been an innovator in the Pilates world since 1996. As a part-time dance instructor, she realized that her desire "to move" and teach made sitting at a desk all day seemingly impossible. Jill was drawn to the benefits of Pilates and received her classical Pilates certification in San Francisco. Creative movement inspired Jill to teach Pilates in her own unique way and has led to the development of workshops and trainings based on these creative ideas.
In 2013 Jill created FitSprings equipment and workouts as a solution to keeping clients in her studio to meet all of their workout needs. FitSprings addresses the limitations of traditional Pilates equipment and enables people of all ages and levels of fitness to take their workouts and rehabilitation to the next level, while minimizing impact on their joints. What makes this system so innovative is that it's not limited to a single use case or practice. It is designed to be used by athletes, dancers, physical therapists, trainers and any other individual that is working to perfect performance, recover or get fit in a fun and effective manner.
